The increase in event management and health & safety requirements of Music in the Park has meant the format of previous years wasn't sustainable. In order for the event to continue, it needed to change. The event is organised by Friends of Belle Vue Park (FOBV), a voluntary community charity (Charity No. 1109145) that supports Belle Vue Park through enhancements and regular events. The event has attracted around 1,500 people in recent years. Significant costs include insurance, medical cover, stage & sound hire, security, toilets and more. Funds raised from ticket sales go towards these costs, with any surplus used for park improvements or community events.
Thank you for your support and understanding!
Advance tickets are essential. They are free for children (0–15 years) and £10 (+booking fee) for ages 16+. A maximum of 6 tickets can be booked per person.
Everyone is welcome to bring their own picnic. There will also be a food vendor on site throughout the day. Ice cream and non-alcoholic drinks are available from the community centre.
The park will be closed on the day of the event to ticket holders only and will not reopen to the public until the following morning. Music starts at 2pm, gates open at 1pm.
There are currently no specific restrictions on the consumption of alcohol at Belle Vue Park for Music in the Park, but we ask everyone to please drink responsibly and be considerate of others — this is a family-oriented event. There will be no alcohol sales in the park.
Anyone wanting to leave and re-enter the park during the event will need to ensure they get their hand stamped upon exit.
Ticketing is managed solely by TicketSource. TicketSource uses the latest extended validation security (EV SSL) certificate and is PCI DSS compliant, ensuring that tickets are sold in a safe and secure environment.
